The Inn was built in 1896, as an addition to a two-story farmhouse. The farmhouse itself dates to 1846 and was constructed from Chestnut logs, then covered with pine plank siding. Furniture and fixtures are included. 4.46 beautiful acres with huge evergreens along side Wolffork Valley in Rabun Gap.

A historic home that once housed the 6th Cavalry band members, it is part of the Barnhardt Circle historic homes. The area, also known as “The Post,” showcases 21 historic buildings built between 1900 and 1906 to form the heart of the original fort. Located within the circle are several little league-sized baseball fields, a large open field area, the newly restored historic gazebo, and the 6th Cavalry Museum.
